Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The food quality is good, rich in flavor, and the beef dishes were surprisingly delicious—the meat was very tender. We had a pleasant experience at this restaurant, though the prices are a bit on the higher side. Update: they no longer have this beef dishes. Tried the steam fish with chives and green chilli chicken, we love it!"
"Atmosphere was really nice. Last time we ate here we were placed outside, wasn't too pleasant with many people passing by and watching us. But when I peeked the inside, it looked very cozy. We just didn't have that opportunity, sadly. Service was really good, considering we came only a count of weeks since their opening, they did a good job. Foods, they were delicious, but the the fish dish (since we wanted to try the Mala version), omg it was such a trivial to eat lol. To separate the chili and pepper aside just to enjoy the soup and fish. The price was expensive. But overall we enjoyed eating there."
"Located inside Paskal 23 Mall, this restaurant serves traditional Chinese cuisine, with their standout dish being the fish soup with pickled green mustard. The portions are generous, making it perfect for sharing with friends or family. A great spot for those craving hearty, flavorful Chinese comfort food!"
"Suji - Suan Cai Yu at 23 Paskal is a great spot if you’re craving authentic Sichuan-style comfort food. Their signature Suan Cai Yu (fish in pickled mustard broth) is the highlight, a flavorful, slightly sour soup with tender fish slices that feels very comforting and addictive. The menu offers quite a variety of classic Chinese dishes. The spicy chicken was crispy, fragrant, and nicely coated with chili and spices. The fish dishes are well executed, and the broth has a good balance of sourness and spice without being overpowering. Service was smooth and attentive, and the food arrived quite quickly. The atmosphere is casual and lively, perfect for sharing several dishes with friends or family. Overall, a very satisfying place for bold, flavorful Chinese dishes, especially if you enjoy Sichuan-style flavors."
"From an American’s perspective: We ordered the Suan cai yu, spicy chicken (la zi ji), tofu, potato noodles, salmon skin with salted egg yolk, bean curd, custard sesame ball and ube sesame ball. Across the board, the food is all delicious and a five star for me. The La zi ji is a 4 star because there isn’t that much chicken. It’s mostly peppers. The taste for all the dishes is very authentic. My favorite ended up being the soft tofu given the sauce and texture. If you like tofu you have to get that. Besides the tofu I loved the sesame ball dessert. Ube and the custard bun are typically my favorites and combining that with the classic sesame ball was genius. Great, attentive service and great ambiance. I will definitely come back and recommend this to friends!"
"This my first time came to here. So the vibes, service, and ambiance its perfectly good! The food was awesome! Unfortunately i cant share the video so the videos its about the staff like singing front of us and its good entertaining"
"Their fish soup is a must . The crispy garlic toppings at their crispy squid very addicting. Love their fried noodles .Can skip the steam prawns with golden sauce ."
"nice place and ambient. staffs are very helpfull. and the food are excelent"
